The fretboard is the longest and hardest part of the job on this guitar.
I almost abandoned this work.
Fortunately, it was the holidays, and I let the job for 4 weeks before starting again..

I reckon this is the right place. Looks cool, I've been playing with the idea of putting Gretsch-type pickups in my telecaster.

I've been playing with the idea of putting Gretsch-type pickups in my telecaster.

those are filtertrons. I had a Gretsch 6120 and I had get on it TVJONES.
So, I had those two pickups filtertrons.
I think about Telecaster, because of the vintage look, and the Thinline has a great one !

Strangely, I have not the sound which I believed. I have a very warm sound. I put potentiometers of volume on every pickup (500 K log), and by mixing both pickups, I have a wide palette of sound: the jazz too the twang.

With classic TVJONES, mahogany body, the sound must be amazing !!
