I've had a quick look on the net, but can't find that. Do you have a link, Sp8ctre?

    Thanks, BB

Hope you get one! I was in Sam Ash and saw one sitting right up front on display. I grabbed it and was going straight for the counter when I realized it was a lefty! I asked the sales manager for a right handed and he said sorry only lefty's at this price...sheer disappointment and I already have 3 higher model SG's. You can always use another SG right?

I took my credit card right through the process to the 'press to confirm button', but it didn't feel right because I'd input a British address which had been accepted (too afraid of the wife to send the guitar to us here in Korea!) and the delivery/transport/shipping still said ' free' - I felt like my money might be sucked into a computer error abyss, to I backed out at the last second.

A rubbed vintage burst delivered to Old Blighty for $399 just didn't sound right at all. I sent them an email to ask how and if I can buy at that price. & no, I don't have the money for it...

You got to have one or two organs you're not using right now right?

You shouldn't encourage me like that, Scott! You can probably play well, I can just get through a powerchorded punk rhythm, so it's hard to justify a new guitar, but a nice Gibson at that price is great; and they are 500 pounds in the UK which is about $780 (255 pounds - that is insane really, and for a lefthooker!).

I just got an email from Sam Ash, and gave them my details. They are gonna get back to me with shipping costs - if it's under $100, I'll go for it (although I'd like $50 shipping costs). It's about 24% tax into the UK, so that works out at about $623 - doesn't sound so good now...

    Vintage burst or cherry?

Just got the full costs including shipping and taxes: $670 - once again us Brits get shafted... I won't go for it at that price.

I like the cherry one. And I'm not a great player, mostly a rhythm guitar kinda guy (if I was in BOC I'd be playing Eric's parts). :)

These are great guitars. I almost wrote "for the money". Then I realized they are great guitars period.

Betty cost $250 (including bag, extra strings, tuner and delivery).

Sam Ash were very helpful, but their shipping company was 3 times what I usually pay with DHL for longer distances. I paid $55 to get that damn heavy Randall from Germany to Korea, for example (and there were other bits in the load, so it totaled just over 16kg).

I was quite close to buying one and sending it to somebody in the US (not just anybody...), then getting them to send it to Korea for $50 or so putting in an invoice under $400 including shipping (then they'd've been no Korean taxes); so, the total cost would have been around $450. I probably should have done that, but in a fit of irritation I bought me wife and meself a ukulele instead - should arrive next week - get ready for the NUD thread...
