Maybe he made a whole album with it ?
If you do a search you´ll find all tracks. Absolute fantastic !

Here is a track where I think I hear the mid switch sound of SG.
Very strat-like but more open.
The overall sound is a little more "loose" than a LP would sound.
Im more and more sure that he is using the SG on this album..

As a teenager I hung out with a friend whose dad had an old 60 or 61 Silvertone guitar and amp. He also had a half dozen Les Paul and Mary Ford albums.
I would drive my friend nuts listening to those "old hokey records"! I just couldn't get enough!
I remember when I bought my first SG at 18 and brought it over to show his dad. He played like Les Paul and claimed he had bad arthritis and was no good! He said he had never got to play a Gibson before and if he had only known he would have saved up for one instead of the Silvertone.
I miss those days.
Me and Jake. 30 years musical difference between us but we talked the same language. I miss the man.

Here is the picture showing the SG.
I guess a lot of the lead playing belongs to Mary.
Bless Paul and Mary

One more where Les Paul shows with an SG.
Don´t know if he actually plays it, though.
I might be getting very old and sentimental . I just love Marys singing..

Very tight and deep sounding.
