"A Quick One" by the Who off of Live at Leeds.

Or Pinball Wizard from live at leeds. Love the tone he gets with the volume turned down at the begining. 8)

I agree about Frank Marino being the #1 unsung SG hero of all time.

"Crossroads" by Cream is always one of my favorites. First song I learned to play. Just about any Allman Bros. stuff with duane sliding on his SG would also be right up there. Then, of course, the typical ACDC, Sabath, and Zepplin stuff. Hard to choose.

VERY true, Chris. If you haven't heard the extended deluxe LIVE AT LEEDS,
you are missing a wonderful experience...

Folks, I gotta say (and I'm suprised no one has said this before) that
this "FAVORITE SG SONG" thread has to be broken down to SG's with P-90's
and SG's with other kinds of pups...

With P-90's - Anything on LIVE AT LEEDS
    (Wonderful tone! P-90 heaven!)

With HB's - Mr & Misdemeanor, Refrigerator Heaven from Alice Cooper's EASY ACTION (1970) Also, later, LOVE IT TO DEATH (1971)
(First recordings where I found out what a SG Custom sounded like and knew it).

ANYTHING Duane Allman (RIP) played on an SG.

    Paperback Writer - Beatles

    Very early Black Sabbath

ANYTHING Frank Zappa (RIP) did with an SG

White Room and Sunshine of Your Love are mainly my favorites.

BTW, speaking of Blue Oyster Cult, we just made a white SGS with an ABR for them.
