    A possible purchase of a Sunn SL260?
Lookin' good for that-so far so good. Working out the details for purchase...Pic is not of actual amp....the actual one is missing a foot switch (but I have the schematic for the Sunn foot switch, so I can build one if necessary). A typical Fender foot switch may work.....It's only needed for changing channels. acyd70kwqzriuouwwzkz.jpg

Yeah....CMOS transistor, which I guess was the "cat's pajamas" in the late '70's and early '80's.
It'll probably get to my house the 3rd week of October or so...I'm paying it off in two payments outta two paychecks. The seller seem's to be okay with that.
Alway's wanted a Sunn combo amp. A Model T tube head would be great, but who can afford that?

Nice Score! I don't know if Conrad is still around (I hope he is) but, he made a tube amp called the Blues Jammer which is an amazing combo from sound bites I've caught of it. They were really high dollar when I first discovered them about six years ago or so. Back in the late 60s many of the greats used Sunn back then.

Damn Nice! I had a shot at getting an Alpha 112r last week, but it got sold the day I inquired about it. No biggie....I know I will be very happy with the SL260....and very LOUD.
I believe some famous Sunn user's were as follows: The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Leslie West, Jeff Beck, and Ted Nugent.....just to name a few:smile:.
