    I remember seeing this but don't remember seeing it on myLP forum. Didn't you post it here at ESG somewhere too??

    That was a beauty of a repair by the way.
    Nice work Lou. You got mad talent.

    Hey, it only took two weeks for you to get alerted & reply!
    I'll bet you are busy actually living life & doing things in the real non-cyber world.

    Ya, no doubt. Sometimes I wish I was 'that busy' again. And then again... most times I don't. LOL

    Only went four days. Granted, I'd rather be busy playing music and having fun. I've been swamped at work, and not been having a life as a result.

    There are various Gibby necks/parts, etc floating & accumulating all over. Over at the shop I hang in is a Gibby LP Anniversary neck waiting for a body to be made. It's been there for years.

    Hang in there brother. Life is very subject to change.
    While having work, & a lot of it is great, as you know we all need our personal time to relax, unwind, & put balance in life by allowing us time for the things we love to do in life like spending time with family & friends or enjoying our favorite hobbies & activities.

    You know the old saying;
    'All work & no play makes Jack & dull boy.'
    While you personally will never be dull, our personal life without the time for the things we enjoy can certainly feel that way.

    I hope you find your way to having the balance of time we all need to be happy.
    Keep it real brother.

    As luck(?) would have it, I'm only working 10 miles from home for the next few days. I'm pretty sure that my parts order is incomplete. A few items were four days out when talking to the parts dept. yesterday. I'm hoping that's the case. It's a gorgeous New England autumn day, and I may be able to cut out in a couple of hours. Keeping my fingers crossed. I've been away from home the past few weeks, and I could use a three day weekend.

    Also not sure if anyone mentioned yet but the inlays are curved around the edges, whereas originals come to a fine point

    Must've left on his own. He's still listed as 'well known member' & not suspended / banned or whatever they get labeled when being punished & shamed by whoever administers such judgements & penalties.
    Bailiff, wack his PP.

    To be honest, I don't care how or why. I'm just glad he's gone. Things have been downright peaceful around here of late with him gone.
