I (Well my Dad) has a Marshall TSL601. He likes it but with my SG Standard I just can't get a good sound out of it. If anyone has this amp and likes their sounds, can you please tell the me the settings on it. Thanks

I'm not really sure what sound you are after - but I have a DSL401 and usually wind up backing the mid way down to get the sound I'm after.

hmm i have a JCM 900 and it absolutly nails my sound. what kind are you going for?

My guitar teacher has a 601 and hes looking to sell it because it sounds muddy to him, even when he cranks it up and backs off the mids and bass. i dont know. he says its the speaker, and thats believable because its one of those celestions where its specially made for marshall. the special designe speakers seem to have problems sometime. a celestion vintage 30 would probably sound really nice in it.
