Mauled SG Pictorial Thread

    Serial Number indicates 1961, who knows why it doesnt have the LP Junior on the headstock, maybe it was removed. The plain bridge and the compensated one were both used in 1961, if the studs are staggered then it takes the plain, if not it uses the compensated.....

    I actually like that, and don't see it as "mauled" in the context of
    what we usually see in this thread.

    If someone wants a SG that's different to the rest, why not?

    No-one can honestly say that guitar is ugly, well, no more than
    any SG with a giant pickguard.:)

    Is it just me, or does it seem like when someone wants to chop up a guitar or give it some bizarre paint job, they usually do it to an SG?

    I know sometimes folks will do that to other guitars, but it seems like they do it to SG's more than other guitars.
