There's a touch of Cippolina about that one. ;)

That's what I thought when I first saw it.

Ghastly mutilation of an SG-200. It actually had a fiberboard pickguard and a simple white spraypaint 'refin'. I gave it some TLC although not a complete restore by any means.

That looks way better. Did you stick on the skull or was that allready there?

Did you shrink the skull of the previous owner?

The manager of the local music store is a Harley lover and that skull is a motorcycle ornament that he brought in to the store for customizing parts. I added the beady red eye-balls. Remember this for future reference: The best single coil size replacement in the neck to pair with a 57 HB in the bridge is a Seymour Duncan Hotrails. I tried many PU's in the neck untill I settled on this. Also the rails eliminate pole piece alignment hassles. The tone knob is a push-push to tap the Hotrails.

Is that a pair of mini-humbuckers in there? Great idea but poor execution. :(

Supposedly Pete Townsend did that.  At least it was for sale with that story...

You were reading my mind! After seeing these pics. I thought it was like watching Pete Townsend smash a SG Classic! Heartbreaking!

^^^ No way....nope, not a chance. I'd puke everytime I opened the case. That's just....I got no words for it! Fretboard is the only clean spot on the thing.
