I love how my SG starts to fade to brownish shades.
I live in Crete, where sun is shinning almost all year long.
The guitar lives on a stand with minimal direct contact with the sun
but the room is sunny.

She’s beautiful, I love it. Does the screw holes bother you? Would kill me I think, but I am slowly changing my OCD ways.

Holes or not, that’s a class act

The screw holes are there because i think he unscrewed the pickguard so we can see the difference in the colours
Pretty goddamn fantastic how the cherry faded

Yeah the pickguard is back on. I only took it away because I was curious, the back was looking more vibrant red than the front
and I wanted to check if I was right.

That’s cool, I thought you were just going for the no pickguard look. Which I don’t mind but the holes would bother me.
I agree, the finish has aged beautifully

I have a 2017 stamped (but picked it up at GC in October of 2016) SG Faded T and it had the 'worn' finish on it and it is aging nicely as well. SG4.jpg
