This is my first Epiphone, and first SG. Scooped this up off Craigslist for $265. So far everything is great with it. No issues.

It's too late to really play it, so i'm just admiring how it looks!

Mostly i've only seen the vintage white finish. I kinda like having the less common black with white pickguard one.

I cant wait until daytime when I can crank this thing.

She weighs in at 7.5 lbs. Made in the Qingdao plant in 2005.

Epiphone make great SGs. I have one in addition to a Gibson. The Epiphone build standard is definitely better - much smoother finish, and a very fast neck. I think you've bought yourself a winner. Very nice.

Very nice! And yes - it's good to see a black one surface now and then!

Yes I need a black SG. And a white one. And a cream one. A blue one definitely, and a burst would be good too. Perhaps another red one to compare as well...

Thanks! I splurged and had a tech do a setup on it. It's playing and sounding real good. Middle pickup sounds so sweet with the cleans on my fender reverb. Bridge pickup sounds great through the JCM900.

I did a sustain test with this versus my strat. SG had it beat by a mile.
