I posted this over at MLP, but...ah well, cross vive la cross-pollination! It's not guit-fiddle music, not an SG in sight, but I thought I would share anyway since they kicked so much arse at this comp. I'm still amazed that spawn of mine is doing stuff like this. He's a drummer at heart and is practicing hard to pound the snare here next season, but this year he's on cymbals. He's in the back center, with the flop hair and glasses. IMO they all brought it, especially considering this is their first comp and only their second live performance in front of an audience (the first was a preview performance in front of parents only).
Cool. He plays in his school band as well as his school's marching band during the summer. I don't know how he does it...between all that and the private lessons we have set up for him weekly, he seems to be always practicing. The kid's a machine!
