Just got this last week. I've already played live with it.
I really, really, REALLY like this!
The Ernie Ball pedal and the switch to the right aren't connected, as of yet. I need to modify the Ernie Ball pedal to use it as an expression pedal for the Helix. It's not a difficult thing - just gotta replace the pot with a 10K pot and do a little rewiring of the pedal. My parts to do that should arrive this week.
So, far I am really pleased with this and building patches is proving to be pretty straightforward. I use the HX Edit software on my computer to build patches.
I've held off on getting one of these for a long time, but I'm glad I finally made the plunge. This replaces my other processor.
In use, I run straight to the mix and I get a foldback to my in-ear monitors. In fact, the whole band does this. We don't use on-stage amps or even stage wedges for monitoring.
