hi all. after all the help this site has been i wanted to contribute as well. my new g400 tobacco burst (2nd hand) before and after pictures. i wanted to go vintagey white, so replaced the pickup rings, pickguard, and old top hat knobs for some chicken heads. also, swapped out the innerds (pots/caps/switch/jack) to open it up a bit. only thing left is MAYBE switching out tuners for green keys... love that look. below the pics is a link to an audio recording i did before and after the pot/cap/wire/switch/jack replacement. That looks great. I'm not a fan of those styled knobs but the white pickguard looks superb. Now I want one .
Agreed! Looks great! Personally,I'd put on gold or white reflectors instead of chickens, but it is quite unique. All it needs now is a white nut & toogle cap.
it was gorgeous when you got it, and then you made it your own, and it still looks cool! Like the others, I'm not a big fan of the chicken head knobs, but hey, its yours. Enjoy!
