Scored a barely used 2006 or 2007 Washburn USA Custom Shop WI68. Smoothest feeling chunky neck ever. It just sings and rings. Easier upper fret access than the Les Paul is an added plus.[IMG]

And then this oddly shaped Washburn USA Custom shop is outrageous. All I can say is if you ever have a chance to play any of the USA Washburns from the 90's and 2000's do it. They are the sleeper giant of the guitar world.:

That is a stunning looking guitar! What is the fretboard inlayed with? Almost looks like a nice figured maple? I haven't seen anything like that. The body carve is just sexy.

Thank you! Yes it's inlaid with figured maple. I like the body carve too. Many people think they are weird but I think they are sweet. If you ever see one at a store try it out. Sadly the USA Washburn shop closed 5 years ago because they didn't want to renew the lease:facepalm:.

That's sad to hear they closed down. What's funny is my first thought was that looks like something PRS would charge 10 grand for. I'll keep an eye out for sure. I'd definitely like to play one.

Simply GORGEOUS! I really have very little to add to that, except to say I would love to play one, and would definitely pull it off the wall for a test drive if I saw one at my local music store.

It’s like an SG had a one night stand with a PRS. And yeah... that’s awesome
