Neck Dive

    If it's a modern Gibson it will come with a very light stop bar. Older models have a stop bar many times the mass. I'm sure you can find heavy versions somewhere.

    My 2018 SG special liked to dive. I swapped stop bars with my older 1997 LP special. That bit of weight change made the SG sit perfect and losing a bit of fat was good for the LP. Every guitar is now happy.

    I’m pretty sure only skinny people experience neck dive...gain 30 lbs! The gut stabilizes the guitar..and you’ll look cool too!

    Nothing like enough strings and pulleys for him (William Heath-Robinson is the UK equivalent).
