Beefheart, I hope you were being sarcastic. Why would he or anyone for that matter make up a story about their own health like that?

I don't want to be a pain but... why bother to enter a thread started by a person you don't believe a word and to waste your time reading all his BS just to post an useless comment? Seems like a proposital move to make someone curious enough to ask the reason and give you the chance of a gran finalle saying that the OP is a liar.

Sounds like pure provocation. Unless, of course, you are just being sarcastic as Sandman mentioned.

    :hmm:

If you look at his first comment, it's got violins and the roll your eyes face sign along with it

Guys, don't sweat it. Sarge is unhappy with me because I failed to follow through with building a part for him. A stroke rendered my right arm and hand somewhat useless and I couldn't finish the project. And I've been sorta foolishly thinking that the dexterity would return and it has become prolonged. It's an understandable beef from the Sgt. of beef so to speak. But there's no need to get your dander up over any of this. OK?

As to the 911 thing, yeah, I came from a county that was large and well funded thus the system there ran quite smooth. Now here with the backwoods mentality that runs the area, the old roads in the outlying areas of the county once had names and then later were changed to numbered roads. The 911 system only "sees" named streets. It was never programed to read county road numbers and there is not funding for the correction available I'm told. But rest assured that I'll not call them again. I'll drive to the hospital if need be. Did it a couple times before when having cardiac issues. Guess I can do it again maybe huh? :dunno:

Tobacco Snake speaks with forked tongue.

We've heard plenty of stories from him about
going to various shops to buy guitars and pedals and stuff.

Am I supposed to believe that he's capable of this, and all
the stuff he's been doing lately, and yet he's incapable of
posting back the nut from my '67 Junior, along with the bone
    blanks I sent with it?

His last words to me in May 2013 were,

"So I'll be sending your parts back to you with my most sincere regret that I had failed you. "

    You're damn right I have a beef.

Sarge, how do you know it wasn't lost in the post? Wade may well have sent it, and it may have gone astray... If that is the case, then you can't blame him for it. Sorry to say, but I think you need to build a bridge and get over it. Last words... Out...

How old are we? Give me your address Sgt. Beefheart and I'll send you a piece of Canadian moose shin bone. There has to be a luthier in Jolly old England to help you out unless you've pissed them all off. P.M. me and hopefully we can stop this petty crap!

I reckon I should apologize for the "bone" comment......that was a bit juvenile (Imagine THAT from ME who'd a thunk?)
    Sorry,

On a side note........SHREDDY, does that moose bone stuff sound worth a crap? I swapped my stock SG nut for a TusQ-XL a few weeks back and MAN what a diff. I am going to swap the Lester next, but it really brought the White Witch out of her shell. Just wondering on the moose joints......DAMN ANOTHER BAND NAME ---the Moose Joints.....

Well eS.G. the moose shin is the most dense bone on the moose as it carries the entire weight of the animal. Imagine you had a guitar nut made out of quartz. It's almost that bright and chimey. Perfect for an SG or a Tele in my opinion.

Interesting. Does your SG from your songs have this special bone nut?

It does now but at the time of those recordings it was the stock Corian nut.
