    Hi!

I have a fantastic Samick SG and it has upgraded tuners, pickups, and electronics. Pretty much all that's left to upgrade would be the bridge and tailpiece. So, questions: Would these be worth upgrading? What benefit would I get from doing so, if tuning and sustain are not already an issue? What after-market (or Gibson) bridge/tailpiece do you like?

If there are no issues to be corrected by the new parts, it will basically just be a cosmetic upgrade. It might be worth doing if you find something you like the looks of, but that is going to be about all you get out of it.

Gotoh makes a nice metric post replacement bridge for under $30.00
