New SG at home, it is very resonant and mahogany is nice. This SG sounds very hot.
That looks amazing!!! Congrats!!
The pickguard is a cool custom made
This SG is fantastic, very good instrument. I will upgrade the big Nashville bridge with a Gibson ABR-1
What model is this?
This is a Standard, Body and neck joint are the same than '61 RI.
Is it the 2015 model? Finish called "Translucent Ebony"?
Beautiful SG... congrats...
What kind of pick-ups are in this SG?
Yes, I prefer the Standard with a fullface pickguard but this SG is very good, perfect
I have some cool upgrades to make on my 2015 SG, wait and see ...
@syscokid , Pickups are Gibson Alnico 2 Classic 57
Wow, stunning SG
If that thing plays as nice as it looks, your gonna be happy. Congrats
How about showing it off a bit more. Maybe a head stock photo....we love pics! More pics!
Where did you get the pickguard from? Looks really nice. Great guitar.
Very nice, I really like the finish.
Custom pickguard vs stock one , I' ve got a new white for sale :
Yes, but where did youy order the custom made one?
The pickguard is handmade by Creamtone, they are cool and parts are high quality.
I order a white fullface one for my cream SG Std, this pickguard is nice, thick and bevels are 60° like Custom shop ones
The wood is very cool, the finish is a kind of walnut. The design of the body and neck joint are like a '61 RI, that' s why it needs light tuners . The GForce works fine but I think it is too much heavy.
That walnut finish is PRETTY! Almost shocking to know that is a USA standard.... makes me wonder how many more of those are out there...
Very nice, walnut is my second favorite color.
I can never bring myself to buy a full guard, why cover up the wood?
What a beautiful guitar to look at!
