Terrible chrome, really narrow at the nut - But does this guitar sing! I've had it for nearly 50years and it keeps getting better - or maybe it's me 😁

that describes my 72 SG & i love the narrow neck, in my case it's the guitar that keeps getting better...

Yes! Pictures are always wanted here! Normally the phrase "Pictures, or it didn't happen" gets used, but in this case I don't have even a tiny bit of doubt that you have the guitar in question. As a fellow owner of an early 70s example, your description is absolutely spot on. There was a lot to criticize perhaps in the Gibson/Norlin years, but if you have ever owned one you will also know that those criticisms usually miss the entire point of what is a uniquely different instrument which is like nothing that came before or since. Love it or hate it, if you have ever owned one, you know this guy has one! :dude:
