Thanks. Was persuaded by my local music shop back in January that I needed it. The big 50’s neck is what sealed the deal. I have changed the pots for an Emerson kit. It has the 50’s wiring which I really like. Spats.

I have had G-400 Deluxe and a Worn Brown G-400 before. The Deluxe was a nice guitar. Neck heavy until I changed the tuners and put some coins in the cavity. So, I’m not a gear snob, but I do find my SG to be much more balanced. And I have the shiny side of my leather straps on my shoulder to avoid damaging my suits, and still no neck dive. Yes, you can play an SG wearing a suit!
Not bad! With my Epiphone Iommi SG I use a very wide suede strat and I even am worried about my t-shirts which are getting pulled at by that strap. Wouldn't wear a suit with it. But that's no problem for me...would not wear a suit with any guitar
