I want to say hello as a new member,
currently playing an Epiphone SG in red from the 90s (by Samick, with dot inlays) and an Epiphone SG in Ebony (from Qingdao). I do also play a Chinese Copy of a Gibson SG in Ebony, which in contrast ist very dark sounding.
All of them I bought used.
Currently the Samick one is my favourit,
as You all probably know, lots of fun to play on!

Best regards,
Heinz

Hello and welcome! Great to see another player who enjoys a variety of instruments for their own unique virtues. Lot's of folks here who share this outlook. Definitely you will want to post some photos of your instruments, we love that! :D

Thank You very much! Sorry for the delay, here is a photo of my early 90s Epiphone SG.
I bought it without bridge and stopbar, therefore I installed parts from Gotoh.
I have also a second one from this time, nearly identical, only the trussrod cover with the Gibson Name ist different.
I like them very much.
I have also an old SG Copy from Stagg, made in Japan with bolt on neck and vibrato. The pickups are singlecoils looking like humbuckers.

Best regards,
Heinz
