    Hey Everybody,
I'm Bradsure. I'm 44 and live in South Carolina. I have two boats and a girlfriend and yellow lab that love the beach so I'm out on the water most weekends in the summer. I've been playing and collecting guitars for 20 years. Been doing a lot of buying on EBay. Getting real scary lately with all the fraud and fake Gibsons from China lately though. I got my first Gibson SG Standard a year ago after a friend suggested. I liked everything about it but I always wanted a Gibson standard with three pickups. Low and behold my prayers were answered with the SG-3. I've put all the others in their cases. I was researching SGs before my first purchase and came across EverythingSG. I've enjoyed the informable website. Thanks,
    Bradsure
Oh, I heard that some of the SG fans like pictures and Tarheels. I have a picture(old and doesn't show my latest SGs) of some of my guitars. I break out my 'Tarheel' during basketball games. Hope to break it out during football games this year! oops, I'll have to learn how to post pics that are on my computer.

    Yea,
Thats one of the PRS Customs made in Korea. I saw where they were getting great reviews and thought I would try one. Its great. Its scale is 25" so it's between a Strat and SG. It looks like what you would get if Les Paul and a Stratocaster had a baby. It got its size and weight from one parent and its looks and sound from the other. Great combination. The price isn't bad either for a set neck guitar. Around the price of a SG faded. I'm not sure if I'm ready to put the big bucks on American PRS.  :? These are the SGs i'm hooked on at the present moment.

    hey nice sg's
How do you like the SG-3 - do you find that the gold h/w wears off really quick on the tune-o-matic? I've owned one of my sg w/ gold h/w under a month and already tuno-matic on the 6th string area has already worn/faded away almost

Thanks . No I haven't noticed the gold wearing off. If it did, I probably wouldn't mind to much. Might give it a relic'ed look. The only worry I have is protecting the neck in a fall. I try to keep it in the case while I'm not playing. Yea, I love the SG-3. I'm surprised Gibson didn't slap a $2000 plus price tag and call it like a standard special edition or some other name to justify an over price. I grabbed my quick just in case they made a misstake in marketing ;)
