Hi, I am new here and enjoying the info and discussions - thank you!

I would really like to be reunited with my old SG Junior, which I owned back in the early 1970's.

I wondered if anyone here would know of its whereabouts:
    Serial number 205505 (probably 1964)
    Cherry
With added telecaster neck pickup and 3-way switch (done before I bought it).
I may be able to dig out some old pics - I will post them if they are good enough.

    Thanks for your help!
    Dane

    Hi Dane,
No idea, but I hope you find it! Maybe post a local ad on Craigslist or something? You might want to phone around to local music stores, as well. Somebody might remember that guitar.
Oh yeah, welcome to the forum!

Can you find mine while we're at it? Similar vintage. Don't worry about pictures - if a serial number doesn't identify it, a picture won't.

Shewie Dane, That is a tall order. Heck, I would love to have my old approximately by my best guess on details I remember,,,,,,, 1979 Black Gib Les Paul Std back too. I don't have serial number or pics, just know the name and approximate whereabouts of the guy I sold it to in 1991.

    Good luck

Although Pics might give us a visual on just what a modded Jr with a Tele pickup in it would look like. That had to look unusual.

the les Paul forums would be more helpful in tracking down a guitar like that. Way more deeply involved vintage action and restorations there.
