I've been searching for an SG with P-90's and a friend at Guitar Center located this one for me at a store in Illinois. It's in perfect condition - no dings anywhere on the body and only a few scratches on the pick guard. I came upon the funds to buy this beauty by trading a high end Taylor acoustic for a Gibson Les Paul Classic, a Ceriatone 18 watt Plexi head and a THD, cab, and enough cash for this one. I couldn't be happier.

I own a pair of classics with gloss finish and have found them to be my favorite P90 equipped guitar of all those I've ever owned. I found them both on Craig's list for less than $500 each. Added a hard shell case, keystone tuners, and never looked back.

    That's great!

Inlayed name, and little white key heads!

    Bound neck, and dots!

I'll bet that Taylor was a sweetheart to be worth all that.
Taylor makes excellent guitars, both acoustic and electric and in between.
But it sounds like you got enough gear in trade for it to keep you busy for a while.

Thanks for posting such great photos too. There's something about the sound of
an SG with P-90s... I don't own one, but every time I hear that sound it gets my
attention. Les Pauls with P-90s are also very cool. Good choice.

There's also something about a cool SG next to a weathered wood fence...
