Hi, I’ve had my new Gibson 2020 left handed SG Standard Tribute for a few weeks already. It’s a great guitar. I’ve already modded it, purely for aesthetics - I covered the pickups and added reflector knobs. These were simple changes but I feel they’re an improvement over the open coils and black knobs that came standard. I’ve also added Schaller strap locks (as I do on all my guitars). Two things I noticed when it arrived: 1) how dry the fretboard was. I had to condition it a few times to get it feeling nice and looking dark; and 2) how low the tail piece was set; it was so low the strings were touching the back edge of the bridge. I raised it up so as the strings cleared the bridge - overall it feels great to play.
