Yeah, all the pics I saw there wasn't any binding but I definitely dig the binding. Frets need to be filed a little, kind of sharp for my liking but easy fix.

I have a 2016 1966 g 400 pro. No binding on it but i get little cuts from the frets too.

Few months late but got to say that is a classy looking epiphone I really like it, I'm looking at buying one used--- similar to yours with different knobs and color switch tip on it

For some reason, I always prefer the larger pickguard on a standard SG, but if it has a Maestro, the small pickguard looks better to me. ALWAYS cherry finish, tho.

Hey everyone, finally part of the SG club again. American Musical was running a special on Epis, 12 mos payments so I couldn't resist and picked up a cherry G400 Pro. Must say better than I expected, even has the neck binding which I was surprised to see. I had been reading that the latest ones didn't have it but this one did. Super nice guitar, came setup perfect out of the box couldn't be happ

If it sounds anything like the 2017 Epiphone G400 Worn Cherry I just picked up you'll love it. Love the binding. Congrats!

It's lovely still, just a shame I missed out on the bound neck on later models! I've really come to appreciate the split humbucker tones which are of course a little muted compared to the full coils but that's easily fixed with a compressor pedal. Does a great job with spring reverb!
