    I put in..

CTS 500k Pots, Orangedrop 0.022uf caps, and a Switchcraft output jack & 3-way right angle switch. Regarding the Gibson factory PCB and pots/caps Idk their values, I just threw that in the trash. There was a noticeable difference in tone. More growl.

I'm also running Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Eric Steckel "Candy" low output PAF style pickups. They sound amazing.

More something, I'm sure. I'm less subjective about guitars, but when I was into Triumph motorcycles, I always noticed a massive increase in power was directly proportional to how much I spent on parts.
So I really have been wasting my time? It certainly feels like it lately.

I am gonna mod my 2017 Les Paul Tribute. Those knob pointers are coming off and going in the case.

My 2019 Standard PCB vol pots are slightly over 500k so I’m good with it.
I’ve ruined components with a soldering iron before, so I know values can be affected by heat.
A PCB mount provides more consistent circuit values due to not having to solder directly to the pot, IMO.

New knobs on my Ivory SG Standard, those knobs sound very hot, incredible sustain. :thumb:
