    Loves me some EB.......those Epi ones are calling to me......S.O.B. I have GAS on so many levels a winning lottery ticket MIGHT cover it.......HELL I was drooling over a Squire Mustang earlier today----in yummy seafoam green.........I need help. :-(

    I believe that's the third '70's version of the EBO. The very early ones were almost identical to the late '60's ones. My friend got his right before they changed to the slotted headstock and then I believe the one in the picture followed a couple of years later.

    According to the info on flyguitars that is the last version they built.

    It would lighten up a bit without losing its character if You rewire the coils of the mudbucker in parallel. Then a PU position like that would make a lot of sense (one of my basses has a 60s T-bird pickup replica in just that position, and it is great.)

    Did You notice that Epi's cheap EB-0 body shape is based on this model?
