SG Std Tiger, first time I see this model, what do you think? The serial number say 2006...
I'd play it!
Unique fir sure. Looks like something the Japanese market would scream for.
Weird, the serial number reads 2006, but it has the polycarbonate control cover that debuted in 2015. I have to assume it was replaced for some reason. Also weird because it has the specs of a 2017 Standard. Must have been a limited run. There was a somewhat similar limited run called the SG Standard Premier in 2009 that had a laminated flamed maple neck:
Where did you find these pictures?
2017 and 2018 had white binding.
This one does not.
Employee build and a precursor to the 2007-2008 SG Select. Haven't you all ever seen the SG Select? He found the pictures on one of the SG groups on FB. It is not officially called the SG Tiger by any means.
Strap buttons are the same on my 2015 Standard and Nashville bridge has BTR posts .
The SG Premier has a full face pickguard.
I know, I wasn't suggesting it was an SG Premier. Just pointing out the similarity.
S***T! This is an awesome SG !
I love the look of it. What fretboard is that? It looks a bit lighter than your average rosewood appearance.
I don't usually like that flame sh!t but I have to say, with that color scheme it looks awesome!
Oh man, I like that axe.
