    Hi folks,
I just took possession of my 7th SG style guitar and thought it about time to join up to this forum!
    So here’s my latest:
2011 Gibson SG Junior 60’s lefty
    Baked maple fingerboard
    Schaller 456 fine tuning bridge

any advice on how to get pics up on here? The button is asking for a URL, do they have to be hosted elsewhere?

    cheers all

Thanks! Yeah the bridge is awesome! I’d originally bought it a few years ago on eBay when I was still planning on saving for the Jaydee Old Boy relic. A few different factors came into play after that, one of which was the confirmation that the Monkey SG was the main guitar used to record the first 5 sabbath albums, and the fact that it had a P90 in the bridge, and I saw this junior come up on eBay and had to pull the trigger. I love the simplicity of it, and I was blown away by the tone of the P90 as well as the feel of the baked maple, a total and welcome surprise!

Ha, yeah long discontinued sadly, schaller 456. I’m a big Iommi fan, I had to have one after drooling over his old boy for so long! Just waiting for some jazz knobs to turn up and see how they look on there...

Ah that’s very kind! Feeling very welcome! Just waiting for lockdown to end so I can get to my practice space and try it out through my new amp, a nice Laney VC50!

    Welcome to ETSG!

So...... where's yer other six SGs then?
These are my two, pretty much all I have left for electrics
after life changes required a sell-off last year.
But with these I've got a lot of tones covered.

That's a salvaged '08 Classic. The previous owner swapped pickup covers and added gold hardware. neck fix.jpg smclssc.jpg
I repaired a broken neck and added the Maestro vibrola and roller bridge. She's a blues machine.
"And epis! Did they come with the trems?"
The black Epi is a stock 2005 deluxe. My edgiest sounding SG. The cherry is a 2003 Epiphone Vintage G-400 I added the AllParts maestro and Gibson 57 classics.
