    Hey everyone.

Just bought a old beater 78 "The SG" and wondered why I've never owned an SG before.
    Really sweet playing guitar.

or perhaps Dave Mustaine said it best "God created whammy bars for people who don't know how to solo."

    Tarheel?   What is a Tarheel?

When they do road repairs on a really hot day, and a lady in high heels takes a shortcut thru the orange cones to cross the street....

    Aw hell, Wags.
    You explain it to him.

That is a cool SG BD!

Goodness!!! Is that really true? Tar Heel I mean?

Somehow that doesn't quite sit right with the view that I had of Southern Man. I had always assumed that they were Gentlemen and would NEVER allow such a fate to befall one of their Ladies.

Oh Well...........Bang Goes another allusion! :-\

Thanks for the pointers there Zep. It's interesting learning more about what goes on and that's one thing that this place has done for me.
There are times when being a Brit can be something of a disadvantage. ;)

I've got a feeling that the fact that Kirk Hammet and Kerry King use them has something to do with it ;D
