    Just arrived at my office.
    My first Reverb.com trade!
Agreed to swap my EHX ring thing (cool, but too much pedal for me) for this EQD Transistor Fuzz

I don't really know what to expect, but I dig my other EarthQuaker pedal, the Acapulco Gold and I love fuzz pedals. The ring thing was pretty much just gathering dust anyway.

I've never even heard of a Jax and Companion fuzz, but it's apparently a 70s sound

Andy makes it sound good, but he always does...

going to take her home and give her a try!

    ( ^ has he nicked JG's tele?)

    Love a fuzz thread! :D

Don't forget one of your famous little video reviews - Andy is great, but kinda meh in some ways; he seems like an excellent professional salesman rather than a pedal tester...

The search for the perfect fuzz is a long one; can this be the one?

It has the top leads which I really like too.

I just got my first EQD pedal a couple of days ago, but been too afraid to bring it out of the bottom drawer as the wife has angrily noticed the massive pedal growthage.

i will try to do a video review soon. initial thoughts are very good. it's a rather aggressive sounding fuzz. more jagged and less creamy than a muff. pretty wide range of sounds though. i don't know if i've found the sweet spot yet, but i am having fun with it! definitely no regrets on the trade

    here's a lazy man's pedal demo lol

all i did was run a clean loop with my Akai E2 Headrush through the Terminal Fuzz. That way I could make adjustments to the knobs as it played. Again, really liking this fuzz!

That's a very nice technique to use in demoing. I have the Terminal, too. Very bottom heavy chewy is the way I'll describe it. Like many others, EarthQuaker pedals are pretty solid.
