prototype heratige korina series guits. all three as a set $20,000. how'd i miss these yesterday?
a 1960 335 for $20,000.
hey hey we're the monkees... people say we're monkying around... we're too busy singing... to put anybody down... $2500 i think
and that's all i shot worthy of a look today.
one guy had what he said was a new gibby 62' reissue sg, but it was brown, not hc. he was asking $1200. i dont recall seeing those in brown on the web but it sure was a beauty. i walked around and thought it through and just when i talked myself into buying it he had sold her. :-\
that's how it goes.
one guestion phil - will you go again next time??? Even tho I had to drive 2+ hours, I'd do it again. Next time I'll get there early before the
tube guy sells out of 6v6's!!! To bad about that 62 reissue, I don't remember seeing it, but it sounds cool.
Also - that 62 SG for 18K, the more I look at it the more it looks like a 67 or 68 - it had that long smooth neck joint (not to mention large pickguard), I thought the 61 and 62 had the same style neck joints, I know what the 61 joint looks like and that wasn't it.
You are correct Dox, The 61 & 62 had the same neck joint. The "long smooth" didn't appear until
66 or 67 if i'm not mistaken
yeah id go again next year -- 15 min drive for me
i think id agree... be there first when the doors open and hit it again day two when the prices are dropping. buy what you want/need immediately and see what shakes later on.

Yikes! Are the prices set or do they bargain?
If you have cash, they will bargain and if anything is left to sell
on Sunday afternoon they'll take even less - Who's gonna pack
all that stuff up and take it home again!?!
