I recently got the urge to learn PT's solo from The Seeker. I think he played his SG Special on this track, at least it sounds like it to me. I always liked this solo and I'm curious to learn the intricacies that make him sound the way he does. I am getting very close but a few spots are puzzling to pick out and decide which position works best. Has anyone here studied this solo in detail? The videos I found on YT and elsewhere are not very accurate.
A cool version! Aleksandar Živojinović threw in a few close licks but did his own thing. Evidently he doesn't like the vibrola arm flopping around.
P90 SG, Flicky Strumming, and mid neck lead it seems. Just have to nail the fingerings and strum patterns or pretty good faking it.

I have spend an inordinate amount of time working on this. It has become a personal challenge. I have slowed it down and some of the bits are beyond quirky. They are downright awkward to play - for me anyway. I think I am very, very close to having the notes now. But I can't play it.
