Playing Zeppelin On a SG.

Love Zep and Jimmy Page. I’ve got a Standard Plus Top Epi LP but I’m grabbing my Whole Lotta Humbucker equipped G400 for Zep stuff. Who gets a Page tone out of their SG? Mine is pretty close.

I have 3 gibson sg's and 3 gibson lp's and some epi stuff amongst others.........they all have their own sound and "strengths"
Pickups tend to make a big big difference as well as the body/guitars

I had "The Ocean" sounding pretty close to the original on my G400 with Alnico Classics installed before I replaced them with P90s. Just dial up a Marshall sound with moderate gain, add a little bit of reverb and slapback delay, and off you go.

My G400 Pro sounds close enough, especially with a MkII Tonebender clone.
