Ah, that sucks. My band is scheduled for a combined gig/beer tasting this coming Saturday, but so far we haven't been able to get the whole band together for band practice since November. It will be fun, though.

Pedal-Board-2.jpg I had already posted this in an older thread but here it is again. The Tech 21 Blonde Deluxe is a preamp with 6 presets of clean and OD

I finally got to play with the Archer this week. Like I said originally, I use it as a fuzz box, and not an over drive. I use the Prince of Tone for that.

I use my 79 Super Lead when I play with the band. What I did, was set up the amp so that it was clean with the guitar volume at about 6. It gets a little crunchy with the guitar volume rolled up to 10, but not too much.

The Archer is pretty simple with it's controls. It has Input, Output, and Gain. I messed around with them a bit, and got everything from just a little bit of added girth to rich creamy feedback. I like it set up where there is just a little bit of added girth and a tiny bit of saturation at my regular volume. Then when I roll up, or dig in with a pick, it will sustain real long and then start feeding back.

I find that at the settings I use will also allow the Prince of Tone to do what it needs to do when I want to boost the signal for a solo without getting muddy or over saturated with distortion.

I hope that this is of some help.

Fuzzbox? The Archer? I've never played one, and didn't realize it gets fuzzy... :dude:

Here's my current board, pretty basic. It's a Used Art Sounds MkII fuzz, Dunlop mini wah, TC Sub n Up and Joyo phaser. I'd like to add a Boss DM-2W to the end of the chain soon, and possibly a tremolo in my amp's effects loop.

IMG_0259.JPG Mine is very simple: a chorus and a reverb pedal to add some color to the clean signal, and an OCD used as a booster. I will add a delay in the future.

Just put together a new board tonight. Added the new delay pedal and switched to velcro instead of cable ties.

Just struck me, it's a bit of the United Nations of pedalboards, featuring Japan(Taiwan), China, Denmark(Thailand), USA(?) and Australia

I had two or three pedals in a box for the last 20 years, never used them.

A few months ago I bought an overdrive pedal, and used it once or twice.

I got the bug and collected a few more pedals and a jericho power supply.

I assembled it all on a pedalboard a few weeks ago, and have used it one time.

I do like the soul food and the ultimate drive the best. I haven't tried the flanger.

Those Vintage Phase pedals have a great sound, but I found to get the best from mine I had to open it up and adjust the trimpot on the circuit board.
