Post your Gibson SG’s!

I have a 2018 SG Std in Autumn Burst and a 2013 SG Std in Natural Burst. Both have factory pickups (‘18 has aged pickup covers) and Emerson CTS pots. The 2018 has Gibson 61 pickups and the 2013 has Classic 57’s.
I bought the 2018 brand new. The 2013 I just acquired in great condition. They both have the slim taper neck but the 2018 neck is noticeably thinner than the 2013. The 2013 is similar to a ‘61 reissue with the 22nd fret neck joint and deep bevels.

I went from no SG's for a few years (sold the last one off, was primarily playing bass and I had a Les Paul Custom) to two SG's purchased within 3 weeks!

The black one is a '95, the vintage cherry one is an '11 with baked maple board. I believe both have stock pickups. I found a TP6 tailpiece for cheap and put it on the cherry one when I was changing strings (it was also the first to arrive).

Thanks. It's a Tonepros NVR. Not sure if I like it yet more than the stock Nashville, but I had it laying around so I figured I'd try it too. I like the ABR look better personally.

That is the classic looking SG - cherry finish with a batwing guard. I have to say it is perfect. Some guitars just look better in their classic finish. Rickenbacker in the FireGlo finish; Gretsch in orange; SG in cherry.

A Ferrari should be red, an SG should be cherry. Even though my SG is Natural Burst I can still say the cherry suits the guitar best.

Just picked up a brand new walnut body, maple neck 2019 SG Tribute at Guitar Center in Allentown, PA on sale for President's Day. I thought it was a used instrument when I saw the price. It was $400 off. It even came with the brown leather Gibson bag.

I like both, is the bridge made by Faber on the dark cherry SG ?

Pickups are Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1 neck and bridge. This set sound amazing, very good PAF set.

That is very interesting. I had a set of SD 59 SH-1's also. They do sound good, however mine did not look like those.

I took another look at your pickups and realized what I was seeing are open coils with a metal surround.
