Not too nice for me! Just too expensive. That would be a nice collector piece for someone, but I'd be afraid to play it and mess it up. Sumthin like that deserves to be pampered and protected like a piece of fine art.

    AHHHH HELL NO!!!!
I would play the piss out of it to show off how pretty it is so hopefully nobody would notice how bad my playing is.

I'm not sure about her, Wav - she looks like a high-maintenance broad.

Craigslist lister is mistaken. It's an SG Select , although rare and only made one year, more than a few were made in Natural,Red, and Trans black. Still a killer guitar and may very well have been displayed at NAMM but definitely not one of a kind. Someone on the board has the trans black model. Here is a link : http://www.chorder.com/electric-guitars/gibson/sg-select-959

the link incorrectly states mahogany neck....all had three piece flamed maple necks. also incorrectly states mahogany back with maple top....all Selects were two piece solid flamed maple bodies. I had my eye on a couple but couldn't afford them.
