Hi. Was left a lot of music gear by my late father. Among them, this SG. Cant tell what model it is or if its even real. The other microphone is in the case. Not sure why he took it apart if its the same one he had when i was a kid. But restoring, buying and selling guitars was kind of a hobby, i bet some of you guys know the type. I checked the serial number, says it was made in -89, but i cant find a model with the strings thru the body, and the logo without the dot over the i... dunno. So long story short, what is this? Thnx in advance.

Thank you very much. So it looks like sombody has been screwing around with it to make another humbucker fit in it.. I have been going mad trying to find the right one. cheers!
ah, try to recreate the original guard and it should cover-up just fine... this is mine with the factory schaller...tho i've always wanted a tune-o-matic version... the slim taper necks are pretty decent, coupled with the ebony board makes it quite smooth...
