you need to swap out the boss multi-pedal for 3 big muff's and a range master.

I’m pretty sure @Grizzlyman has the Rangemaster thing covered with the Black County Custom Iommi booster! :thumb:

Haha, knew I’d get something about the Boss! All good man! I only use it for tuning, noise gate, a little delay and modulation, I don’t use any overdrive or distortion from it.
I’m actually using the Laney TI boost pedal in the loop along with a Donner Yellow fall delay for solos, so currently the boost is acting as mostly a volume boost to drive the power stage a bit more.
I toyed with it as a front end, and also tried my Catalinbread Sabbra Cadabra in the front and neither of them come close to the overdrive from the amp, it’s insane. A huge uncompressed open roar. Ridiculous!

Haha, you know it man! Actually, I’ve tried it like that, but the gain on tap from the amp is insane, so I use the TI boost pedal in the loop with a delay for solos! Works amazing!

    cool setup!

I have nothing against Boss pedals, and own a few.
There is SOMETHING about a black SG...

Oh definitely! I’m planning a little SG shootout through that rig, just need to get a free evening! Was gonna do the SG Junior in the pic (that’s a Bare Knuckle ‘Pig 90 pickup in there) vs Epiphone Iommi SG with Iommi humbuckers vs Gibson SG Special Faded with 490s in.
    Should be interesting!

Totally agree, and that Junior is my favourite of my SGs, it’s so playable. I think the torrified maple fretboard makes a big difference, it’s sooooo slinky! Love it!
And honestly Boss is a great company, and I think the ME50 is seriously underrated. I’ve used the Tubescreamer model in a pinch and that still sounds great today and I’ve had the thing like 25 years!

It's nice to see some love for the Laney amps, (and P90's and Rangemasters), I've always thought they were great. I have a Voodoo Amps hi gain Jose modded AOR.

What bridge do you have on the SG?
