SG Custom Reissue

    Are the frets on the 3 pickup ebony board reissue the same as used on the USA Standard? Or are they smaller like a vintage 60's fret less wonder?

    That guitar uses heavy gauge frets, the wide ones, but milled down somewhat flat on top.

    Whatever frets they use, just get you one. Gibson know what they're doing for the most part. I like my SG Custom a lot, though I do my daily woodshedding on an SG Standard so as not to run the Custom's frets into the ground. Having an SG Custom refretted costs the same as a new motor for a1963 Corvette.
