SG new pickguard ?

I have a Second Millennium Anniversary SG Standard, the stock pickguard is vintage pearl. This is a great SG, a good number but I' m sick of this pickguard, I want something different.

Which pickguard finish will match better, cream or black pickguard ? I have a black new pickguard (pictured).

Black, imho. Will make your gold hardware really stand out.

I would go with a jade. Green nicely compliments ebony and gold. White just contrasts and makes the pickguard the guitar's focus. Your guitar is a canvas. Treat it like that.
