SG pickguard question

I hear some SG pickguards referred to as "Batwing" pickguards. Are those the full (not half-size) ones? I really like the look of the full-size ones.

Small is actually my aesthetic preference, but you can't beat the sound of the Specials.

 

I have a batwing as well!

I do prefer the aesthetics of the "Angel wing" small guard though.

Nothing beats a black sg with a batwing !!

My feeling is if you're going to have a batwing, you might as well have a full batwing, à la John Cipollina. Here's my Cipollina inspired full-batwing SG...

 

Technically I prefer batwing with bridge pick up installed with a ring.

 

The last photo above shows exactly the reason why my preference is the ring mounting..
