From mid '80/'81 to '91ish..there's always overlap, but at least a solid decade! First ones had the block inlays like the '70's versions, then went back to trap inlays..oddly, the SG-62 was released in 1986, which was an attempt at an early sixties reissue, (cool SGs, but wrong body contours) and where built concurrently with the older style..I think sometime in '91 is when they went to just the sixties inspired body and neck joint that is still used today.
