    Any thoughts on this guitar?

Seems like a Musicians Friend/Guitar Center exclusive. Would this be better than a G-400? Epiphone has so many models I am thoroughly confused. I played one locally and it sounded pretty good to me but they didn't have any other model in stock. I am looking for rock/blues to complement by Squire CV50 Tele.

Hadn't seen that one, the Yellow is to die for. So yeah, I'd say it's as good or better than any new Epiphone SG. Batwing pickguard, who doesn't like that ? I say go for it and report here with lots of pictures.

This Epiphone looks like a Gibson SG Standard, the real question is used Gibson SG Special or Epiphone SG?

Looks nice, very similar features to my G400 '66 Pro. The new inspired by Gibson line is a bit better in terms of quality and finish compared to older Epis. I have the same pickups in my Pro and they're great. I say go for it.

What I really like about the new SG line is that the bevels are wide and deep. But they have yet to come up with a substantial neck size.

The bevels are the same on a G400.

I can confirm those same features on my 2020 SG Special. A nicely beveled body but also the thinnest neck I own.
