I bought a used reverb pedal on eBay. Cost me $5 for shipping, no problem. Said pedal has a defect that wasn't mentionned. LED light doesn't work. Seller refunded what I paid and ask me to send it back, but he want me to pay for shipping his way. I shouldn't have to pay for shipping, it's his problem, not mine. Am I being obtuse or is he ? All this is rhetorical, as he now tells me to foget about shipping and keep the pedal. How do you see it ?
Sounds like the sellers done messing with it. Looks like you got a pedal for $5 shipping. Replace the led.
Ethically, I think there are 2 ways: Partially refund for defect and replace the led, or return the pedal and give your money back. Shipping shouldn't be your problem because of the inaccurate item describing.
