That was a good article NB, kinda scary too.

I never really got KO'd, technically that is, I've KO'd other opponents, one guy in particular about two minuets into the first round I nailed him with a left, and a right to the jaw then an uppercut. The guy just stood there, his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he just fell over, I thought he was dead, scared the hell out of me. I quit shorty after.

I used to get headaches after a football game from all the hitting.
I was a fullback and was like the waterboy.
rarely carried the ball and my specialty was destroying linebackers.
Running full speed and going helmet to helmet in a BOB block.
Poor suckers were usually not moving forward and got clobbered.
I put many out of the game with pinched nerves in their necks, shoulder dislocations and knocked out.
Loved it until a broken wrist left me in a cast for 13 months and a bone graft.

Just as well..I'd probably be more brain damaged than I already am :D

    Hey !

My name is Mathieu Savage, and I'm 22...

I live in Montreal, Québec and work as a web developer/integrator. Really love that stuff !

I'm a real hockey fan and live for the Montreal Canadiens. My main language is french ;)

I have a cover band that's called... Les Grosses Plottes Sales. Try and type that out in google to know what it means :p

that is one fine boxer in that pic... Ok another fact about oldrock is I am a huge boxer dog fan. Love the breed and currently share the house with 2. One is 12 years old and a very close friend and family member. The other one is 7 weeks old and we just brought him home saturday! He is a lil rascal right now but I expect him to grow up to be a fine friend as well.

WORK - I've clawed my way up to middle management as a marketing manager/art director. I was a full-time musician (bass player, singer) in the early 80s, playing hotel lounges, Vegas, etc. We were on the road 48 weeks a year. Shared the stage with members of Def Leppard (also got to play at their soundcheck), John Mayall, Mick Taylor, The Time, Neil Geraldo, Gary Richrath (possibly the worst live guitarist I've ever been on stage with), Kevin McHale (yes, the basketball player). You never know who's going to come stumbling into a Hilton lounge at 1:00 am!

HOBBIES - Well, guitars of course! And home brewing, astronomy, wine tasting and rocket science.

FAMILY - Still married after 17 years, 10 year old son and 6 year old daughter, 2 cats and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi dog.

    MRK

I was a cariacture artist at Opryland USA my last two summers of high school.

I got my pic taken with R Lee Ermy a few years ago - also got an autograph.

I got Paul LeMatt (John Milner from the movie American Graffitti) to sign an illustration that I drew of his Deuce coupe from the movie.

On 9/11/01 I was doing work in a prison and couldn't hear about what was going on in New York, Washington DC, and PA until about 4:00PM.

Jessica Alba wants to have my baby...Oh you meant real things. ???

I woke up one morning with severe stomachpain, so dad drove me to the ER.
I was put in a room and told not to eat or drink, if it was appendicitis surgery was in due.
Half an hour later a doctor came by. Asked some questions and squeezed on my stomach.
An hour later another doctor with 3 or 4 assistants in tow came by. More questions and more squeezing. Then he put on a glove, and I instinctively knew... One of the assistants had a hard time keeping her face.
I was hospitalized for 2 days. But in turned out to be – well – nothing. No appendicitis. It went over by itself. Good and gone. With new experience...
