Squier S-73

    Are there 2 pickups stuffed into the bridge position?

    It's a Triplebucker. I found it on eBay for like $40. It sounds ok, the mids are absolutely sizzling but it doesn't have a ton of bass, surprisingly. I keep it in there because it looks badass and an EQ with the bass cranked up makes it sound ridiculous.

    Good job, not only have you've breathed new life into that SG, you gave it some personality in the process.

    I got one of the Squier versions, nice player, the pickups could use an upgrade but are decent

    That's cuz it's the same shape. DeArmond is to Guild, what Epi is to Gibson. Then the Fender purchase happened, and they spat out some Squiers with old DeArmond bodies and necks, albeit with a diminutive pickguard that I personally don't like at all..

    Those sqire gibson copys are really awesome...I had a les paul one and it got stolen...I miss that guitar
