5CAF5479-12C2-4427-BAF4-7A32B3C71759.jpeg Heres a pic of my SG while changing strings i cleaned it a bit and dragged it over by window. Normally it looks quite dark but in bright light the paint job comes alive!

The rosewood fretboard with mop also looks nice its fairly dark after music nomad f-one cleaning.

That’s an excellent idea with the elastic. I am going to use that

Mine is too shy to be seen in public without strings.

My SG, Luna dares to go bare
    IMG_1100@100.jpg
She's ten years old now, almost 11, a shameless nymphette.

i love how blonde the back of her neck has gotten, from play.

    That's a nice finish!
Funny you post this. When I changed strings last week I noticed how different/unfamiliar it looks naked. Didn't take a photo though...

Umm sure i can try the back is much darker i thought it was completely black for like the first six weeks i had it. It shows a slight dark blue though but its fairly uniform not at all like the ( maple i think ) front.

As far as i know the pickups with no mounting ring and the backside screw height adjustment is an SG HP 2018 feature only i believe that goes away in 2019.

thanks bud. was a bit of a loaded request, what i was really curious about was how the pickups were mounted and adjusted. the picture explains it. I hadnt seen that before. quite interesting. and of course, great looking guitar!

Yeah ... that's my 2004 Vintage G400 that I polished from a bleh faded finish. Those P94 are long gone, now replace with really nice Tyson Tone PAFs.
